First edition single blended by Foursquare Distillery, blend rum distilled by Richard Seale into Alembic pot still (double batch distillation) and continuous distillation in Coffey Still.
This official bottling comes from the synergy between Luca Gargano and Richard Seale and will become soon a collector's rum.
The liquid, aged for ten years at the Tropics, spent three years in ex-bourbon casks and seven years in ex-cognac woods. The result is a distillate that embodies all the finesse and elegance of Barbados rum plus a particular fullness due to full bottling degree (64% ABV). International Wine & Spirit Competition (IWSC), now in its forty seventh, has rewarded with a Gold Medal Outstanding crowning and prestigious Rum Trophy, Foursquare 2006 as the best rum in the world
